Rodger Clamp – Media Leader, Cultural Strategist & Coach


Rodger Clamp, recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Contribution to Radio Award at the NZ Radio & Podcast Awards, is a highly respected media professional, cultural strategist, and trained coach. With a career spanning multiple media platforms, he brings extensive expertise in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), brand development, and high-performance coaching.

As Cultural Manager at MediaWorks (2020–2025), Rodger transformed the company’s workplace culture, building it from limited resources into a thriving, diverse environment. He collaborated with Rainbow Tick / Toitū Takatāpui and Te Reo Māori Language Pouako to launch four employee-driven networks: The Women’s Network, Rainbow, Moana, and Interns.

Rodger has worked closely with many high-profile media personalities, developing strategies to enhance performance and ensure authentic, impactful communication. Over the past five years, he has coached and mentored presenters across some of New Zealand’s most iconic media brands, including More FM, The Edge, The Breeze, George FM, Mai FM, Magic Talk/Music, Edge TV, and The AM Show.

Beyond broadcasting, Rodger is a trained Workplace Navigator, an experienced mentor, and an advocate for youth development, contributing to initiatives such as Project K (Dingle Foundation) and the Ara Polytech Broadcasting course. He continues to strengthen his knowledge of te reo Māori and is deeply committed to fostering cultural intelligence in leadership.
