Mavis Mullins
Mavis Raylene Mullins, MNZM, an inspiring Māori businesswoman of Rangitāne, Te Atihaunui-a-Paparangi, and Ngāti Ranginui descent, has made significant strides in various business sectors.
Mullins' academic credentials include a Masters in Business Administration from Massey University. Her leadership capabilities are further evidenced by her roles on the boards of Landcorp, Massey University Council, and the Mid-Central and Wairarapa District Health Boards. Notably, she played a pivotal role in launching 2degrees, a telecommunications company, as part of her work with Te Huarahi Tika Trust.
Her contributions extend to significant treaty negotiations. Mullins was integral to the Rangitane o Wairarapa and Rangitane o Tamaki nui-a-Rua teams that successfully completed their Treaty of Waitangi Deed of Settlement.
