In 2016 she was awarded the ONZM for services to technology (her kids say that even the Queen has given her a certificate for geekiness). Melissa trained as a Futurist at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto and runs a foresight consultancy FutureCentre.nz. She is currently working on a large piece of work for the Primary Sector on the Future of Work for the Food & Fibre Sector. She went to Uni at 15 and is deeply curious about how things are going to turn out. Melissa is a sought after speaker online and in person.
